So I failed my PT test on Friday. I failed ONLY because my waist is to large. I maxed out my push ups, maxed out my sit ups but my waist was just a tad (a full inch) too large. Ok, let’s face it. I’m huge! Now when I say I’m huge, I realize that there are people out there larger than I am but in the military … … not so much. Then again, I’m 5’10″ and 250 pounds so I’m not necessarily a small guy even on the civilian sector.
So now starts the journey. I’ve decided to go purely primal. I’ve tried everything else that society has thrown out there with no luck. The balanced nutritional diet that the FDA has published. Mind you this dietary guideline has been modified countless times in the past 20 years but for sake of argument, let’s just say that these people actually do know what they are talking about and it’s not just a conspiracy to scam our money.
So now I have decided to listen to the one thing that makes sense. Nature. The evolution of man. What was our body DESIGNED to eat? … … I feel like meat!
